Join us for an introduction to the Local Nature Recovery Strategy!

Gloucestershire Biodiversity Week is coming up in May, with many interesting events planned to highlight and celebrate local biodiversity.

As part of the events programme, Gloucestershire Local Nature Partnership is running a free, online event to introduce the Local Nature Recovery Strategy.

The session will give an opportunity to look at the draft maps and priorities for habitats and species of Gloucestershire, forming the basis of the Local Nature Recovery Strategy.

🐜 7-8:30pm

The session is open to all, whether or not you have been aware of or involved with the Local Nature Strategy before, or are simply curious to learn more about it.

Last year, public and community engagement sessions and surveys helped to feed in ideas and priorities for the strategy. There has also been extensive input from many local wildlife experts. The strategy will be going to public consultation in the summer.

As well as signing up for the above event, you can also find out more about all of the events taking place during Biodiversity Week here.
