We will be hosting our next partnership meeting on Thursday 15th November, from 10:30 am until 13:00, kindly hosted by one of our partners at Gloucester City Council offices, North Warehouse, Gloucester Docks, Gloucester, GL1 2EP.
We will be running the day in two parts:
PART 1:
Open to discussion from the group to share things such as: topical news, relevant live projects, consultations to consider, any challenges that fellow partners may be able to assist with, plus we want to hear positive outcomes that organisations want to share, grow or replicate with others.
If you have an agenda item to wish to share, please can you contact us as soon as possible to add your point to the agenda so we can maintain some structure to the session and get an idea on timings.
PART 2:
This will be a workshop. This month we have the Health & Wellbeing Board in to discuss the development of a new Health and Wellbeing Strategy. This is in response to the Local Government Association (LGA) prevention system peer challenge recommendations from earlier this year.
Their approach to developing the strategy aims to give a greater insight into a community perspective, develop a wider shared understanding of the priorities and gain commitment to actions to improve health and wellbeing. At the heart of developing this is the need to work collaboratively with people and communities, and in new and existing partnerships.
We would very much welcome your input at the next LNP partnership meeting to help shape their understanding of the Health and Wellbeing priorities as well as seek to create a Health and Wellbeing subgroup of the GLNP.
