Gloucestershire Supports National LNP response to Net Gain Proposals

On 2 December the government launched a consultation to seek views on how we can improve the planning system in England to protect the environment (via biodiversity net gain) and build places to live and work.

It was agreed that it would be greatly beneficial to work collaboratively as a Local Nature Partnership network to write a collective response to the proposals on behalf of the LNP family across England.

With a huge contribution and agreement from 27 LNPs, we drafted a strong response which was submitted to Defra by the deadline on Sunday 10th February. The LNP Net Gain response can be downloaded by clicking this link (PDF).
