Redlist Revival will be hosting the launch of 'The Life Map' on Tuesday 23rd April at the Oxstalls Business School, Gloucester. The launch is relevant to everyone interested in the earth’s resources, our ecosystem services and the quality of human life for our generation and future generations.
The Life Map - 23 April 2019 at 2.30pm - Collaborative Lecture Theatre, Oxstalls Business School, University of Gloucestershire.
The Life Map gives information simply and sequentially at national, county and community level (10km x 10km grid squares) to provide awareness material for individuals, families, organisations and society on our current environmental status.
The Life Map contains information about the SUSTAINABLE LIFE INDICATORS (pdf) that are the things that really matter in life and does so in a manner that enables engagement, assessment of performance and the acknowledgement of improvement & success. The Sustainable Life Indicators also act as a platform for the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
THE LIFE MAP and the SUSTAINABLE LIFE INDICATORS provide a unique combination for linking data throughout society whereby individual and collective actions become valued and significant.
The relevant top science organisations and Natural England have endorsed the ecology material and there are discussions with the United Nations to obtain concurrent formal endorsement. This system is replicable & scalable.
